Leven en werk van Jan Schoonhoven centraal in tentoonstellingen Museum Prinsenhof Delft en Stedelijk Museum Schiedam
Fifty years ago, the ZERO art movement planned an unusual art manifestation titled ZERO on Sea, which was unfortunately never realized. For the iconic Pier in Scheveningen at the Dutch shore, about 50 participating artists including Lucio Fontana, Yayoi Kusama and the Dutch Nul group, were asked to propose a site-specific work challenging the climate and weather of the seashore. Inspired by this iconic manifestation, TodaysArt creates from 25 and 26 September 2015, the 11th edition of their festival with visual art, performances, interventions, club nights and presentations in the spirt of ZERO, including the second day of the two-days symposium ZEROnow: A symposium on the topicality of ZERO.
Die Restaurierung von Otto Pienes Plastik „Licht und Bewegung“ auf der Kölner Hohe Straße geht in entscheidende Phase. Bald soll sich die Plastik am Wormland-Haus wieder bewegen.
After Venice soon at the Istanbul Sabanci Museum as part of the large ZERO exhibition with Lucio Fontana, Yves Klein, Heinz Mack, Piero Manzoni, Otto Piene and Günther Uecker: Heinz Mack his nine golden columns.
Beatrix Ruf, director of the Stedelijk Museum, says, “I’m extremely proud that this experimental network is so closely connected with the history of the Stedelijk Museum and that, through this unique research project, we are able to see and appreciate our remarkable collection of ZERO artworks from a deeper, richer perspective.”
